About the NSDL Wiki

The National Science Digital Library (NSDL) Wiki provides a collaborative online environment where users can organize, create, and annotate resources. Vetted articles and referenced resources can then be added to the library for search and discovery on nsdl.org . After registering, you or your group can use the NSDL wiki to develop specific topic areas for use in classrooms or research. You can also use our extensions in your own MediaWiki project. If you would like to be a part of this project, please Contact NSDL.

The NSDL Wiki project page has more information about this project's goals and some of the ways we are trying to reach them.

Getting Started

If you or your group wants to create educational resources for science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, please submit your ideas via our contact form. Please describe your professional background and what you want to do. We are always happy to hear from people who want to join the NSDL community.

You can use any of the federated NSDL accounts in this wiki. If you don't have an account, you are welcome to register for a free account. If you want to edit in a restricted area, you will need to contact us about being added to a specific group. Our editorial staff can also give you permission to add resources to the NSDL Data Repository (NDR) once your content has been reviewed.

Please see the Help:Contents for information on writing articles. If you are new to wiki technology, you can experiment with wiki syntax in the Sandbox:Home area.
