OnRamp Project Description
OnRamp is the NSDL Content and Communication System. It serves as a content management system with the additional ability to distribute content to externally. The OnRamp application has multiple components that enable the application to meet these goals.
- Fez serves as the content management system. Fez is a project under continuing development at University of Queensland Library.
- OnFire serves as the distribution system. OnFire is an extension to Fez that was written by the NSDL OnRamp development team.
- Additional functionality that is specific to NSDL is programmed directly into OnRamp. An example of this NSDL specific functionality is exporting resources into the NDR.
