NSDL Wiki extensions provide a collaborative online environment where users can create educational content, organize project documentation, and submit and annotate educational resources in an NCore Data Repository (NDR). Taking advantage of the hooks built into MediaWiki, allows us to focus on the NCore extensions and work toward our goal of creating more connections and less barriers to getting high quality annotations and resources into an NCore repository.

Examples and Demos in Use

  • NSDL Wiki - The extensions are working in this wiki environment - see the "NSDL" tab to see metadata about pages that have been added to the NSDL Data Repository. We've maintained much of the expected wiki functionality to keep the interface consistent, while styling the site to our brand.
  • Modeling Wiki - The Modeling wiki was setup for a conference and able to use the wiki extensions, but the site is currently not active.
