Community:Committees/Sustainability
From NSDLWiki
Update: As of October 1, 2008, NSDL Standing Committees as well as the Policy Committee have been sunsetted, by action of the Policy Committee at the 2008 NSDL Annual Meeting. Information available here is archival.
National Science Digital Library Standing Committees were established early in NSDL's development to support community formation and collaboration. In some cases, NSDL Standing Committees have reduced their activities in 2007-2008, as NSDL transitions from the need for permanent Standing Committees to the formation of small working groups to address specific issues of community concern (e.g. Community Sign On working group; Pathways Evaluation working group; Metadata working group).
Standing Committee wikis are available as collaborative spaces and records of past accomplishments.
